Doug maximizes the benefit of WSU Extension programs to the citizens of Clark County. In addition to providing leadership for the Extension office, Doug’s works revolves around local sustainable food systems, community building around agricultural and natural resource policy issues, promoting farm-based businesses, and farmland preservation. Doug oversees the Small Acreage Program and activities to help small urban and rural farms. He serves as a member of Clark Conservation District Board and the Technical Advisory Committee for the Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board. Doug supports Metro Center projects in the greater Vancouver, WA area.
